Novel Electronics and Photonics
The competence center Novel Electronics and Photonics primarily includes the workgroups of Electronics, but there are also shared research interests with Communication Technology and Printing Technology.
Research activities are interdisciplinary undertaken within the framework of the Wuppertal Center for Smart Materials & Systems (CM@S) together with Chemists and Physicists, working on new materials, smart components, and systems that have effects on various areas of highest social relevance.
Work groups involved:
Mr Prof. Dr.-Ing. Patrick Görrn
Large Area Optoelectronics
Mr Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Jung
Printing Process Engineering for Offset Printing/Digital Printing
Mr Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Daniel Neumaier
Smart Sensor Systems
Mr Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Ullrich Pfeiffer
High Frequency Systems in Communications Technology/ Terahertz-Technology, Automotive Radar Systems
Mr Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Thomas Riedl
