Student Council

The student council is your contact for everything concerning your studies.

You can reach them via their website or via Moodle.

The AStA is the executive body and the political representation of the students.

If you encounter problems of any kind during your studies, or if you have suggestions for improvement, the QSL team will be happy to assist you.

Study organization

Here you can find the course catalog, create your schedule, download certificates and view your grades.

Here you will receive announcements from your Moodle courses, confirmations of exam registrations and other important information.

You can get help with the configuration on your smartphone or in the mail program from ZIM.

This means the transfer of the semester fee, if this is not done you will be exmatriculated.

Deadlines are the:

  • 15.02. for the summer semester
  • 15.08 for the winter semester

To access online resources, such as scientific publications and textbooks, from outside the university, you will need VPN access. You can find instructions on how to set this up here.

Sciebo is a cloud storage service of the universities in NRW. There you have 30 GB of storage space at your disposal.

Online portal where you can get all the materials (scripts, exercises, etc.) for your courses.

You can find textbooks for our degree programs in the library on the Freudenberg campus, directly behind the entrance gate on the left.

Via SpringerLink you have digital access to a large number of textbooks.

If you have any questions about programming, the programming workshop is at your disposal.

Questions about the mathematics of your events? The Math Workshop is your first point of contact.

More offers

The HSW runs the refectories, the dormitories and takes care of student financing, for example through BAföG.

Uni-Sport offers a wide variety of sports courses and also runs the Bergwerk gym.

The app integrates various IDs, for example the student ID, the semester ticket, the library card and your SportsCard. Furthermore, there is information about cancelled events and a campus navi.

With the ticket you can use the regional transport in the whole of NRW, this is included in your semester fee. You can find detailed information about the regulations here.
