Master's Programme in Industrial Electrical Engineering Automotive
Due to the enormous cost pressure and the high degree of rationalisation in production, the often technically dominated view in companies in the automotive industry must be combined with economic competence. As a result, technical and managerial staff in the automotive industry are increasingly required to have integrated economic and technical skills. This is particularly true in the areas of innovative automation of operational processes and technical marketing. The Master's programme in Automotive Industrial Electrical Engineering is therefore intended to give students the ability to deal with complex technical issues under consideration of technical and economic boundary conditions. The students are trained as generalists with comprehensive knowledge of technology and business.
This approach includes the demand not only to develop solutions to technical and financial problems, but also to consider their consequences for people and the environment. The basic goal of the engineering work, to solve given problems with rational use of modern scientific and technical aids, is also valid for the future, but using an extended set of instruments. For this, the industrial engineers must have competence in the relevant technological and economic areas. But they also need the ability to assess the social impact of their actions. Finally, they have to document their work, exchange information with other disciplines, and convincingly present the path they have identified as the right one.
