Applicants with a special subject-related aptitude for the degree programme will also be accepted.
This aptitude often exists if the applicant has a university entrance qualification and vocational training or another relevant professional qualification. There is no general rule.
In addition, the Freedom of Higher Education Act (HFG §49(10)) requires a general education appropriate to the requirements of the university’.
The particular subject-related aptitude for the degree programme must be determined by the respective examination board.
In this case, it is therefore strongly recommended that you contact the chairperson of the relevant examination board in advance. The academic advisors of the individual degree programmes also offer advice in this regard.
Due to current legislation, there may be further opportunities for university admission or a trial study programme. Information on this can be found here. Before applying for this admission, you must first obtain counselling from the Central Student Guidance and Counselling Service at the University of Wuppertal.
