Description
Embark on an exciting journey with the new Master's course "Smart Materials and Systems," where cutting-edge electronic and photonic materials meet innovative applications. This program is designed to put you at the forefront of research, offering deep insights into the creation and utilization of advanced materials that drive today's smart devices. Whether you're passionate about revolutionizing wearable tech, enhancing communication systems, or pushing the boundaries of sensor technology, this course equips you with the knowledge and skills to transform ideas into ground-breaking innovations.
This 4-semester Master of Engineering course provides you with the fundamental knowledge in the fields of material science, electrical engineering and information technology, and allows you to focus your studies on one of three specialisation areas, which offer courses closely linked to the cutting-edge research activities at the University of Wuppertal. All lectures of this course are held entirely in English.
Join us and be part of a future where intelligent materials and systems shape a smarter, more connected world.
Students in this Master program have scope for specialisation into one of three branches:
-
Materials and Fundamentals
-
Devices, Circuits and Systems
-
Information Systems and Science
Within the specialisation area, you need to acquire 24 CP, which generally correspond to 4 modules that can be freely chosen (see list below).
In each of the two remaining specialisation areas, you need to acquire 12 CP.
