The degree programs Information Technology and Electrical Engineering include courses within their modules whose main emphasis is on the field of competence of Automotive Engineering. These are in particular courses of the modules:

• Sensor and Actor Technology, Communications Systems and Circuits Engineering (Bachelor EE)
• Embedded Systems, Image & Audio Processing und Communication Technology (Bachelor IT)
• Mobile Communication and Multimedia Technologies (Master EE)
• Communication Technologies und Multimedia and Signal Processing (Master IT)

In the winter semester of 2009/2010, the new interdisciplinary courses of study in the field of Industrial Engineering and Management have started.

Building on a general bachelor's degree course in Industrial and Electrical Engineering, the focus of Automotive Engineering is the Master's programme Industrial Engineering and Management Automotive.
